Best crayola kit by far....
I bought this kit for my daughter and I just had to purchase 2 more kits Bc she enjoyed it so much that she wants to make more. I do wish they had a refill kit that had different colors in it but since I enjoyed making them so much with my daughter I purchased 2 more kits along with a box of crayola pip squeak makers!!! So it will b fun to c what new designs we will come up with!!!

What Fun!
What a fun Science kit! We had a lot of fun doing this paper flower kit especially for children who are into science projects or experiments. The flowers are so pretty when finished and my kids enjoyed creating them not to mention it was something we got to do together. It also came from a brand I trust so I definitely recommend some good family fun by purchasing this kit.

Makes beautiful flowers!
Our girls love the Crayola - STEAM Paper Flower Science Kit! It was perfect for our 7 year old and our 4 year old was able to play along. They loved getting to color the tips of the flowers and watching the colors change. They had so much fun with this kit. I love how many flowers that you could make from the kit. We will definitely be using this again!

Very fun!
This was such a fun and learning activity to do with my family. Honestly, I was a bit worried about the papers accidentally tearing but they were quite pliable. I'd say the most awe inspiring moments came with watching the flowers change colors(even the boys were intrigued). Great project for the kiddos and the whole family!

Great while it lasts...
Bought this for my daughter, and she absolutely loved experimenting with different design techniques. Would be nice if you could buy refills, their suggestion of coffee filters don't work without a wicking stem and top peg. My daughter went through 12 flowers in two sittings. Fun, while it briefly lasts.

Neat colors
I recently got this STEAM Paper Flower Science Kit and my son really though it was neat. It was a little bit messy and it needs adult supervision so nothing is stained. The directions were a little bit confusing so another reason for an adult to help out. Over all it seems to be a quality product.

Great family activity
This was a great family activity to do with my girls. They are 6 and 7 so needed a little assistance in putting them together. We had a lot of fun creating these beautiful flowers. We enjoyed the activity and would definitely do this again. My girls loved making the paper flowers.

Fun kit
My son and I had a fun time with this science kit. I like that they give you lots of paper flowers to color. I hope I can purchase more of the flowers or make more of my own for future play time. The color mixing guide was very helpful in making tons of colors from 3 colors.

Fun Activity!
Me & granddaughter really enjoyed doing this Steam Paper Flower kit although will have to say it isn't meant for toddlers to do but it was oh so fun to see the amazement in her eyes! Really easy instructions to follow & turned out really pretty!

Great Kit - But Each Flower Takes ~ 15 min.
The Kit was a great hit for our kids but unlike the video selling the product, each flower will take about 15 minutes for the dye to completely saturate the paper.
A little disappointment at first but we adjusted and still had lots of fun.

Missing pieces
Received this as a gift. My girls did their petals, got their colours all organized to realize that it was missing the center piece of the colour that holds it all together :( . Very disappointing.

I would like to suggest that you put the amount of time it takes for the flowers to absorb the die. Most 6 years do not have the attentions span to wait over an hour.

Pretty results and fun activity
My girls, 5 and 8, really enjoyed the activity and especially the beautiful results. The kit had everything we needed. I had my 8 year old punch out the flower petals and arrange them. My 5 year old, with my help, put together the cups and stems. After explaining the color guide, they each dropped the color into the cups and poured in the water. The age says 8 and up but a younger child can definitely do this with adult help! My daughters were wowed by the results. Best part is that they give you 12 petal sheets so we can do the experiment again. Make sure you read the directions at the bottom, too. It explains you can draw with white crayon or use a marker before dipping the stem in the color and see what else happens. :) My only wish is that they would include a pamphlet that explains the science a bit more for the older kids (why the water/dye travels upwards.....is it chromatography?). After the flowers dried I made holes in a paper coffee cup and stuck them through to make a bouquet to admire. But if you have a little one that will like to tinker with them, after it dries I’d suggest glueing the plastic “petal” to the stem once dried because it easily comes apart when touched! Definitely a fun gift!

Is there a way to get more cores and tips? I saw that it was recommended to use coffee filters for the petals, but that doesn’t help with the other parts. A refill pack would be awesome!
