Love it ran but tears were real
My twins received this as a gift for their birthday gift. This spring break they decided to bring it and share with their sister and friend. The 4 of them were lining up to go next. The paper ran out first in a couple of hours so we hand cut a bunch that started the we can't do this any more... then we ran out of the paint. Then we were only left with the spiral side that was not as exciting. It was amazing and fun while it lasted for the 4 hrs with 4 kids. That night I searched for replacement ink and paper with no luck... I am so sad not worth rebuying

No paper refill?!
Seriously - only 15 pieces of paper come with this and you don’t have packs of refills?! Clearly this was put together by someone who doesn’t have kids. Glad this offered less than an hour of fun. I would not recommend this one. There are competitor brands that have paint and paper refills for a reasonable price. While it was fun - You need to (a) have it come with more paper (seriously - only 15 sheets?!) and (b) offer packs of 50 or 100 refills. Don’t do things half way. If you are going to sell a product have the material to back it up.

Love but didn’t last as no refills
My children LOVE this and are saddened that there are no more papers or paints! Like others have mentioned in other reviews, I have searched the Internet and there’s nothing available. So, right now it is a waste. Hopefully paper discs and paints will be sold very soon!! I recommend this product once refills are available!

Awesome idea but need refill discs
I just bought this as a gift for my niece and couldn't find refills, but I figured I could get on the crayola website and get them. Really disappointing to find I have to buy her a pack of paper plates instead. I would recommend it in the sense that it's cool but know that you have to find other means for more paper.

Lots of fun but would not recommend buying
I bought this for my grandkids who had a lot of fun but we ran out of paper and paint. Seriously cannot believe that refills are not available. I would not recommend this to anyone until refills are available to purchase. It’s to expense for a one time use and to try to explain to my grandkids that they can’t use it any more is ridiculous! And, who has time or wants to cut out circles from paper plates! If you are not going to provide refills then put that on the front of the box!

Great but..... Beware of no refills
We got this for our 7-year old for Christmas. She loves it! And seeing how much she enjoys it I was happy we got it for her. That is until it is time to get some more of the paper circles and paint. Crayola does NOT sell the paper circle refills nor the paint. So what are we suppose to do? Buy another Spin & Spiral set? Cut my own and hope they fit? Pretty disappointed. I don't think I would have bought this if I knew I could not get refills.

No Refills??
Horrible product. So disappointing that you offer no paper disc or paint refills for this set. What genius approved this product with no thought at all to how quickly a child will blow through 15 measly discs?? My 9 year old was so excited to spend her gift card on this set. And your suggestion to just cut out more yourself is ridiculous! Total product fail. My daughter loved using it for the whole day it lasted until she ran out of discs.

Nice but no refills
As every review before me it only come with 15 pieces of paper. I wish I would have noticed this before I purchased it. I would have gone with something you could at least purchase refills for. Cutting out the paper yes is a work around but not a very good one. You need the thicker paper which we do not have on hand. The dye soaks right though regular paper. Would not recommend unless crayola had refills to purchase.

A lot of fun, but need to sell ink refills.
I bought this for my grandchildren, 7 and 5. They both really enjoyed it. In 3 times using it, we finished up all the paper discs, so it's a good thing I had gotten 2 refill packs. But, there are no refills for the ink for the spin art side. I can see us running out of that very soon. I read where you can use diluted paint as refills, but, I liked how quickly the ink dried. Crayola needs to sell ink refills.

Great product bad follow through
Crayola, I can not believe you would sell this product without having a refill kit ready for purchase. This product is fantastically wonderful otherwise. I see your response about cutting out paper plates, but come on! Are there no parents working at Crayola?? I don’t want to take time to cut up paper plates! Extremely disappointing. I wouldn’t have ever guessed that there would not be a refill for purchase.

No refill
Complete waste of money. Do not purchase. There are no refills for the paper or ink. Once they run out, there’s no other options. Yoi can cut you own paper. Which is a pain to do. But there is no ink available. You spend 20$ on something you can only use For a few times. So disappointing. I should have went with a different product. If Crayola were smart, there would provide refill options.

Lack of refills a huge draw back
My little one loved this - for about 30 minutes. The lack of available paper or ink dropper refills is a huge disappointment and as a result I would recommend looking elsewhere. Wildly unimpressed by the lack of forethought that renders this product quickly cast aside when it might otherwise (and easily! I'd pay for replacements if they were an option!) have been an ongoing favorite.

Refill
My daughter got this for her birthday yesterday, she had ALOT of fun. But after using all the papers (which i can cut out even if not ideal) there is no ink left... how do you sell such a set up that should last years(i meam this is alot of plastic to use for 2 days!) Without a refill option???? Beyond rediculous

This would be cool but
If Crayola truly expects you to get scissors out and trace the circles and cut out your own they are out of their Mind. The way kids go through these little paper circles is too fast to keep up with and the fact that you can’t just buy a pack of refills is insane I wouldn’t recommend buying this product for that

Why NO refills?
My grand daughter received this for Xmas. She has had great fun with it until the paper ran out. Looked everywhere for more circular paper refills but none available. I would have thought Crayola would have had better marketing advice and sold packs of the paper and refills for the ink?

Great idea
I was excited to see the refill pack being offered till I was set to order a refill pack and found out I would be paying more for shipping than I would for the actual product. This toy will be going in the trash. I don't have time to cut out discs all day for the grandkids.

Love hate
Kids love it! The art is so cute and keeps them busy. I need more ink and the bottles got thrown out. I'd love to purchase new ink and cant!!! I tried diluting my own I got the water/paint ratio wrong plus I need the bottles. Fail! My kids really like this toy.

No refills...?!?!?!
My son loves it and lots of time for creative fun! Super disappointing that there are no refills for ink or paper. I didn't even think about this why buying it because seems like Product Manager 101 to get recurring revenue through replacement consumables.

Fun, but...
My son got this last month and was out of the paper so quick. Disappointed Crayola doesn't offer refills, but I did find them specifically for the spin & spiral on Amazon. Not sure why I can find them there but not at Crayola. I'm hoping I can find more ink

No paper refills
Bought this today for my granddaughter. She absolutely loved it...until the paper was gone. Comes with 15 sheets and NO REFILLS ARE AVAILABLE. you offer a template. Ummm a compass does the same. Add the refill option and I'll bump up the rating a few stars.

Disappointed - no refills available
Purchased two for Christmas gifts. We’re enjoyed until ran out of paper and paints. Took about one day before toy became useless with no replacements to purchase. Your solution of cutting own paper discs is not practical for 6 year olds.

Fun but doesn’t last
My children love this toy except for the fact that it only has 15 pieces of paper and I can’t find refills. So now they can no longer play with it. That is a wasted $20.00. I am extremely disappointed in Crayola.

Follow up
You stated a year ago you would look into providing more paper circles or maybe we could even purchase them, yet still nothing. Toy is fun but I rated based on the fact it’s a one-time use toy, basically.

Can I get refill paper circles for spin art
Denny has the details. While refill paper discs are not part of our current product line, you can create your own for the Crayola Spin & Spiral Art Station by tracing one of your original discs on a paper plate and cutting it out. Hope this helps!
Date published: 2023-05-03
I would like to buy a replacement gear mechanism. My son was overeager to see how quickly he could spin his art and accidentally stripped one of the gears. I would love to fix the one we have rather than trash it and buy it anew.
Hi Orlando,
Denny here! That’s a little outside of my crayon box... but I know someone who can help! Please give our Colorful Care Team a ring at 1-800-CRAYOLA and tell them Denny sent you.
Date published: 2022-12-20
What age group?
Denny here! The Spin & Spiral Art Station is recommended for little artists ages 6 & up!
Date published: 2022-11-22
How can I purchase extra supplies for the Crayola Spin & Spiral art station?
Let Denny show you the way! To keep the creativity flowing with your Spin & Spiral Art Station, my pack says diluting Crayola Washable Paint with water, and tracing one of your original discs on a paper plate, then cutting it out will do the trick. Hope this helps!

This has stopped spinning after 2 uses. Any fix?
I’m here to help get you back on track! Sometimes pumping too fast can cause the unit to skip. I’d suggest slowing down and seeing if this helps. If it still does not spin, please give my Colorful Care Team a call at 1-800-CRAYOLA- tell them Denny sent you!

Hello! You recommend refilling the paint droppers with diluted Crayola paint- which is great. But how do you open the paint droppers to refill them? They seem impossible to twist off and they haven’t popped off either. Please help!
Denny here, and ready to keep the fun going! Try using a small baster or dilute washable paint in a cup, mix with a plastic spoon using the spoon to drop the paint onto the paper disc. Discard any unused diluted paint after use.
Date published: 2021-03-11
What is the size of the paper discs.
Just took a quick measure to be sure! The Spin & Spiral discs measure approximately 6” in diameter.

where can I get more paints and discs for spin and spiral art station
Denny, here! To keep the fun going with your Spin & Spiral Art Station, we’d suggest diluting Crayola Washable Paint with water. Tracing one of your original discs on a paper plate and cutting it out will also give you tons more blank canvases to work with.
