Rated 2 out of 5 by from OK This product is OK, but the tip of the pen is not flexible. The reason I bought this was for calligraphy, but it's not very good for it. These brush pens are suitable for painting but not suitable for calligraphy/ hand-lettering.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I bought these for my grandchildren and they seem okay but they are not washable. Little kids need washable stuff. It’s impossible to get paint off there hands.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not washable off skin; not made in USA like other My two year olds colored the entire palm of both hands and this won't come off.. Tried soap and water, baby wipes, baby oil. Nothing's working at all. It's also on my hands and won't come off. Finally these are made in China not USA like other Crayola products. This is very disappointing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Vibrant, easy to use I bought these for my 3 and 5 year old just for fun and they love them. They slide across the page and deliver vibrant color. they love how easily they deliver color and they are impressive since 3 year olds are pretty rough on things!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun! Ready to use! Kids love them! I do too! Question: best way to store when they are not being used so the “inks” last? Brush down? Up? Horizontally?

can I use paint brush pens to mark fabric for quilting?  Do marks wash off easily, especial if paint is on for a long time?

Asked by: shoofly
Denny here! Crayola Washable Paint Brush Pens wash from skin and most washable clothing. However, we haven't tested this method, so I'd suggest trying this first in a small inconspicuous area or on a scrap piece of fabric.

We just used these for a yearly event. How should we store them so they don't dry out before next October?

Asked by: rcspitzer
Denny to the rescue! Washable Paintbrush Pens have a 24 month shelf life and are freeze/thaw stable. While we do not have specific information that provides maximum storage temperatures, targeting long-term storage of below 100 degrees Fahrenheit is ideal. Elevated temperatures of 110 degrees Fahrenheit and higher will negatively affect products such as watercolor paints, finger paints and crayons because of the melting points of these products and could accelerate the reduction of shelf life in all other Crayola products. Some Crayola products are unusable if frozen. These products should be stored in temperatures between 40 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit. They are: (see Product Shelf Life/Freeze Thaw for All Products). With all other Crayola manufactured products, freezing does not permanently impair their working properties, and they may be successfully used after thawing. Freezing a product will not extend the shelf life, which varies between 12 - 60 months, depending on the product. Hope this helps keep your Paintbrush Pens in tip-top shape!

How much paint is in each brush handle? I assume, you can't refill the compartment with the Crayola paint?!

Asked by: Jane0801
Thanks for your colorful question! I've checked with my pack, and they have confirmed that the Paint Brush Pens contain 1.75g of ink in each pen, and are unable to be refilled. Hope this helps get you back to creating masterpieces soon!

Do the crayola paint brush pens have a firm tip? I am looking for something bold to use with a student's spirograph set and these would be great for this purpose if they held their tip firmly.

Asked by: Art Therapy
Let me grab mine to check! The Washable Paint Brush Pens have more of a flexible tip to provide a smooth brush stroke. We'd suggest checking with the manufacturer of the spirograph to see which markers would work best. If our pack can be of any further assistance, please contact 1-800-CRAYOLA, and tell them Denny sent you!
