Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dries out quickly I bought these less than a week ago for my daughter who is 4 and one of them is already drying out. The others have great pigment still but I’m not happy with the longevity of this product especially with their price point for a child’s art object.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great idea My daughter is 7 and loves the paint brush pens. They work really good. The only reason I am giving a 4 star is because the end of the paint pens touch the lid and makes a mess on your hands and every time you go to paint the paint from the lid splatters little paint dots everywhere. However, it comes off really great with soap and water.

Do these dry on project quickly?

I've checked with my pack! Crayola Project Paintbrush Pens are made with a washable ink formula which is recommended for use on a variety of paper. Since paper is porous the ink absorbs into the surface shortly after coloring so it feels dry to the touch. However, dry time will depend on the type of paper used and the amount of color applied to the paper. Hope this helps!

can we use these to decorate pumpkins?

Gourd question! Crayola Project Paint Brush Pens are perfect for creating masterpieces on paper. They are water-based and work best on porous surfaces. Since pumpkins are nonporous, you may want to check out our Galaxy Paint Stick Pumpkin Decorating Kit. My pack tells me this kit has everything you need to decorate real or plastic pumpkins. Can I refill the paint once it’s gone?   I am environmentally friendly and prefer to reuse items that I can, instead of throwing them out.  Thanks.
