These Crayons Are Great!
I bought two boxes of these crayons for my granddaughters. They opened them and immediately looked for their coloring books. They were able to name their friends of color and picked a crayon to match the skin tones. I am so happy that we have these crayons!

Great Example of People Around the World
We are all different shades and this box displays this perfectly! I have always wanted a shade of ME. You will never know how bad it feels to have teachers and classmates say that's not you but Crayola..... you found me. Thank you!!!

Great colors. Terrible names.
So many still hold "light" as a beauty standard. Calling the darker colors "deep" or "very deep" and the lighter colors "light" or "very light" just reinforces that some are light and some are dark and makes darker-skinned kids see they're not at the "light" level of beauty. Why not use names that kids would see as positive? For example, chocolate, caramel, coffee, latte, cinnamon, whatever. Leave light and deep/dark off altogether and make it relatable to things kids like.

Why Walmart?
I'm an artist working on a children's book. These would be help create the skin tones for my characters. The color selection is great and they're a lot cheaper than Prismacolor pencils. However, I'm extremely disappointed they will only be available from Walmart. Not everyone shops there. How about offering them at Target, Staples, Office Depot, and Amazon as well?

Perfect for everyone
These 24 colors should be wonderful in our grandchildren’s diverse classes when schools can finally open safely. A far cry from the one crayon labeled “flesh” which matched no one!
I have bought several boxes for my grandchildren and for friends’ grandchildren.

Oil pastels please!
I would love to see the colors of the world made into oil pastels. I teach at a lower elementary art school, and we use your oil pastels frequently. I would love to have a classroom set of the colors of the world as well!

Great range of colors!
I think we can all remember coloring our people either light pink or brown, or not coloring them in at all because the colors just weren't right. When I gave this box of crayons to my daughter, her eyes lit up! She's 12, so she's not as excited about coloring as she once was. But she spent the next several days coloring here and there. She said "it's really good that they finally made more skin colors" and it made my heart swell because I loved that it made her happy.
She will get a lot of use out of these colors and I'm excited for all of the kids who get to color their own skin tones now! <3

LOVE!!!
I bought multiple packs so that everyone in the family could have their own. I even put a pack away for my future grandchild that is due the end of September. The order was shipped very quickly. The first thing everyone did upon receiving theirs is to find out which color they were. It was so nice to be able to use the multiple shades to color. Plan to order more packs.

More diverse color choices
As a former elementary (K, 3) and art teacher, I am thrilled that children now have more than 8 skin color choices in a set of quality crayons. Self portraits and all drawings of people will now become more meaningful, especially for those children not yet able to blend colors. I bought 25 sets for a local school in addition to sets for my grandchildren. All crayons arrived unbroken. Thank you, Crayola!

Colors of the World Crayons
The Crayola ~Colors of the World~ 24 pack, is a very thoughtful addition to the Crayola family. My daughters enjoy having a wide selection of shades to better represent and paint the world and people around us. With the same great trusted quality of Crayola, the crayons glide smoothly with rich pigmentation, and the colors blend easily and seamlessly. These 24 unique shades are a must have for every artist. I am proud that these crayons represent people from all over the world, and our children can more inclusively, color themselves, friends and family, all over the world!

Thought provoking gift
These crayons are perfect. What I love the most about them is the reaction of the adult that I give these to, (the parent of the intended recipient). As each person looks at the box, you can see a look of realization on their face. We talk about how the choices for skin color has always been limited and I ask the adult, imagine how a child of color feels? . Thank you so much!!!1

Great Idea
The Colors of the World crayon pack is a great selection of colors. Kudos to the person whose idea this was. The colors are a nice selection of neutrals running the gamut from a light almond color thru deepest almond. The lighter colors have a creamy look, as well as rosy and golden undertones. The darker colors are rich tans, taupes and browns with golden and rose undertones.

Wonderful product
I bought 10 boxes to give to toy drives at Christmas, so that all kids can draw pictures that look like them. I love all the different skintones, this was a much needed product. I will buy the "colors of the world" colored pencil set for myself as soon as they become available. (A Crayola rep told me skintone colored pencil and markers are coming soon)

Missing representation
I appreciate the diversity featured in these lovely set of crayons, but I can't help but notice there is no white crayon. Where is my albino representation? This issue must be addressed posthaste!

Where are the beautiful shades of black?
As an artist and art teacher of children, I think Crayola needs to go back to the drawing board, research, and actually include colors that can be used to create colors of skins around the world. Crayola is missing the mark with only shades of "rose," "almond," and "golden" representing the world's skin colors, which actually include beautiful purple-black tones.

Finally my brown
I can't even put into words how healing, exciting, and heartbreaking(that it took so long) this was to draw. It was so uplifting to see all the different browns as I tried them all out. I kept saying "I think that's my brown..oh maybe this one's my brown!" After all if them were layed out I picked out my skin color, then my hair color, then my eye color..all are different shades of brown. Thank you Crayola for FINALLY making more brown options besides simply brown and tan(neither are me) my inner child is screaming with joy!

Finally!!! More realistic shades.
I bought these for my 9 yr ol daughter a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised when we saw them in our local Walmart.
Needless to say, we both loved them! I mentioned them in a FB group and other city/states have known about these for a while. Maybe my town just received them or I missed all/any advertising of these wonderful crayons. I have noticed some of the crayons break rather quickly. Either way, myself & others are very pleased that now our kids can actually do a drawing that looks like them!! ❤

Why are these not available anywhere?
I have been trying to purchase these for months. Walmart launched the exclusive ones on July 6th supposedly. Not one store my friends and family went to in several states had them. And the preorder was an absolute joke it wasn't an available option either.

Couldn't get them
I was highly disappointed at not finding these at my local Walmart. I was even more disappointed to see that the Walmart website went from selling the box of 32 at 1.77 to over 10.00. Are you kidding me?! I wanted to purchase a box for each of my students, but not at 10.00 a box. I hope you can find another retailer to work with. Until then, I'll keep searching for them.

Flabbergasted
I bought Crayola crayons approximately a month ago and 3 out of the 5 boxes spilled out of their boxes and many are broken. It was packaged very poorly; just the Crayola boxes inside of the mailing box.

My brother just turned 50 - what took so long?! And we're still waiting in the UK... My rating reflects the fact that Crayola finally realised that all people ain't pink.

Not available!
I preordered in early June , Got 1 of 6 packs of crayons. Not available. Can only do thru Walmart. Sad. These were to be gifts. You must be saving for large orders from schools or businesses to resell?

Do any of the colors of the world match the old raw umber or burnt umber? Whete could I get these umber colors?
If there is one thing I know about, it's Crayola crayons! My Colors of the World buddies were designed to allow children to color themselves and their friends as they see them. Unlike me, the shades were created leveraging the basic elements of cosmetic foundation, encompassing three undertones – rose, almond and golden – and skin tone colors ranging from extra light to deepest. You can get a great visual by checking out the color swatch on the product page. Hope this helps!

Are these colors available as pencils or markers as well?
They sure are! You can find the awesome new hues of the Colors of the World assortment in crayons, markers, and colored pencils. Hope you'll enjoy making your colorful masterpieces!
