perfect for Children under 3 years old
Crayola Jumbo Crayons are perfect for children under 3 years old because Crayola jumbo crayons are long and super thick and easy to hold and hard to break and I know that crayons children under 3 years old use are required to be jumbo because regular sized crayons are short and thin and easy to break and pose a choking hazard whereas Jumbo crayons are long and super thick and tough to break and does not pose a choking hazard. And I do collaborate with Crayola and I am even having them reintroduce the Kid's First Jumbo Washable Crayons forever and this is a good thing because crayons kids under 3 years old use are required to be jumbo. Kids have to be at least 3 years old in order to use regular sized crayons and kids also have to be at least 3 years old in order to play with Mr. Potato Heads too.

Great for kids that color hard
I always buy these types of crayons cause my granddaughter colors hard and always breaks the thin ones so they are pretty much kid proof lol

Tips break off
I bought these crayons last week and love the size for my granddaughter BUT, every time one of the jumbo crayons fall off of her Pottery Barn child’s table the whole top of these crayons breaks right off. I’m disappointed.

I expected better from Crayola
I bought these crayons for my 2 year old granddaughter. They were brand new, fresh out of the box. Some of them fell from the coffee table onto the hardwood floor. Two crayon tips broke off, which was disappointing, but 3 crayon pointy ends snapped clean off. That is unacceptable. These crayons intended for young children and people with dexterity issues should be able to withstand falling on the floor from knee height.

Are "my first" easy-grip crayola crayons the same or different from the crayola jumbo crayons?
You've come to the right crayon for an answer! Crayola Jumbo Crayons and My First Easy-Grip Crayons color the same, but are slightly different in size. Jumbo Crayons are our largest crayon, with the Easy-Grip Crayons coming in second. Hope this helps!

What’s the difference between jumbo and large size?
Sometimes us crayons can go from large to jumbo by bulking up at the gym. I crack myself up! All kidding aside, large size crayons measure 4" X 7/16" and Jumbo measure 5" X 9/16". Happy coloring!
