Great!
My kids really loved working together with the Crayola Steam Space Kit. There I plenty of learning and fun in this great box. Kids can paint each planet, learn how lunar and solar eclipses happen, and about how the earth travels around the sun. My kids loved painting the planets and then using them in fun experiments. There is lots of information about space and it's made easy for young kids to understand and try things out. We loved it and my daughter now uses it while she plays school. I highly recommend this great space kit!

Crayola STEAM Space Science Kit
Very fun, has 20 activities that are very interesting, even for adults! Keeps kids busy & interested, love the instruction booklet that explains how to paint & add stickers to planets & the sun, good list to gather all the supplies you will need, Crayola STEAM Space Science Kit is high-quality & what I expect from the brand. Very educational & you can work on it a little at a time if you'd like. Nice project for kids while they also learn interesting information that they can use in school. The poster that's included is thick, well made, & looks great on the wall.

Unique STEAM Space Lab Kit!
This Crayola STEAM Space Lab Kit absolutely exceeded my expectations! It comes with 6 tubs of paint, a paint brush, 9 Styrofoam planets, double sided tape, a solar system poster, stickers, and an instructional learning guide. This is perfect for young elementary school children who are interested in learning about space and being creative while doing so. The Styrofoam pieces are easy to paint and attach to the poster with the tape. Kids can easily mix the colors to make a variety of colors to paint the planets. The stickers are a bonus to be placed on the poster as well. After they are all done, kids can place the poster up for display in their room. I definitely recommend this kit to other parents of young school aged children!

Crayola Steam, Space Science Lab: Needs Work
Crayola makes so many great products for children. I have grown up with them and now buy them for grandchildren. Filled with colors and interesting projects. Unfortunately, this one doesn't meet expectations.
It says it has 20 different activities, but the styrofoam balls crumbled easily and the paints did not cover completely. My 9 year old grandson walked away after trying to create our galaxy.
The outer box seems to hint at many delights to come, in exploring space through this kit.
The whole thing feels flimsy and not of the caliber of so many Crayola projects. The project book lists many projects that can be done with the kit and extras. And can actually be done without the kit. That's the one plus here. Otherwise, this needs adding in some other things to at least pique a growing child's interest.
I cannot honestly recommend this product.

Great Educational Fun
When I very first opened the box, I wasn't sure what I was looking at. Then my grandson told me it's a toolkit for creating the universe. There is paint, paint brushes, foam balls, everything you would even need including pictures.
We had so much fun reading about each planet as we made it and why each planet is so special.
We even got to put the stickers on and create some of our made up planets.
My grandson asked me if we could go buy more science lab kits and I said you bet!!
I am highly recommending this product.

Educational & fun learning about the solar system!
Crayola STEAM, Space Science Lab Kit is a great educational kit for kids of all ages to learn about the solar system. This kit comes with everything needed for them to learn and have fun. It has 20 activities included in the kit to learn about the stars, planets, meteors and more. Included in the kit are 1 three foot poster for mounting, sun hemisphere, 10 foam half balls, 6 color paint strip, paint brush, double sided tape, star stickers, celestial body stickers and more.
