Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not just the packaging that changed I have been buying these for my son for years, we loved mixing the colors together to see what they'd make and choosing a water color before bath time. The colors were always very bright, and you didn't need to add more than a couple drops in. I recently bought a new box and noticed the packaging had changed. Unfortunately the formula of the drops has also changed. Before the change I would add 1 blue and 2 yellow to make a really nice teal color. In my attached picture I used 2 yellow and 4 blue of the new drops and there is barely any change in water color. I will not be buying these anymore, and definitely would not recommend them.. unless you enjoy wasting money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I've read several of the reviews on this page. I agree with most of them that the old formula was great and ther new one barely even gives a tint to the water. My disappointment doesn't result from that though. My disappointment comes from crayolas responsing to their customers to bring their grievances up to someone crayola hired to do a job for them. Your customers didn't buy the product from them they bought from you. Quit laying the blame on someone that you should've been running quality assurance with. They are making a product for you, in turn you are providing that product to consumers that trust you will make a quality product. Quit shifting the blame.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst formula ever, change it back! We have always bought these bath tabs, even as gifts for other friends. My girls love them. We love experimenting and seeing what colors we can make. Now, all we get is a crappy faded color where everything is dull and/or gray. I just used 10 tabs (5 red and 5 blue to make purple) in one bath and the water just looked gray and dirty. I definitely will not buy these again until the formula changes. Maybe the next bath they take I’ll dump the rest of the container in just to get the jar out of my cabinet because no one wants to use them anyways. Hopefully with all the recent reviews Crayola sees they need to go back to the old formula.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing Hi, I have purchased these from iherb and they have been great however the last ones I received which were advertised as shown on your website seem to be a different product using a very similar packaging. They are not as good. They hardly change the colour of the water all. I have attached some pictures of the packaging, contents and a picture of the bath after using 2 tablets. Seems like someone is copying this product and not doing it well, it has put me off ordering these in future.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The new formula is AWFUL. Don’t waste your money. We loved the original formula color bath dropz. My toddler would run to the bath shouting what color water he wanted that night. We also used them in our outdoor water table. We ran out so I purchased a new container with the new formula. They are AWFUL. My toddler kept asking for colored water, but it barely tinted the water at all. We would have been long term purchasers of this product, but I will not waste money on this poorly made replacement.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Changed formulas Crayola changed formulas and now this is absolutely terrible. There is barely any color and a disgusting film forma around the tub and in my kid!? Why would you ever allow a company to hijack your product and make it cheaply and ruin your brand name!? Also that email you provided the last reviewer doesn’t exist - I tried complaining to them already.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed The old formula used to be so much darker, much more vibrant than any of the other color tablets on the market. The new design of the package is much better, with the two lids to choose the amount coming out. The new tablets made me excited because they looked brighter, but the red ones literally didn’t even change the color of the water. The blue barely did, and the yellow was ineffective too. I don’t know why on earth they ruined the tablets, they’re just as weak as the other brands now and I am so disappointed. My kids were extremely confused and kept wanting to add more and more just to make SOMETHING happen. IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT CRAYOLA. ayoungechrist · Reviewed on Target

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please take ownership of your product I just bought a new “shaker” to replace the one my 4 year old just ran out of. We’ve used these for years and have loved the product- until now. This batch is AWFUL!!!! 4 tabs in and no significant color change. This is a waste of money. I thought I was ripped off by an amazon seller until I came here to find many complaints about the change in the quality of the product. I looked at both my packaging and the old (Good formula) says by GBG Beauty LLC, the new horrible ones are by Centric Beauty LLC. Crayola, this is below the quality products I can usually count on from your brand. I’m disappointed in this, and to come here and find you just keep pushing YOUR customers off to reach out to Centric Beauty is bad form. I’m disappointed to say the least.

Why do all of the bath drops have holes in the seal?

Asked by: Payge
Denny knows! The small hole in the packaging is placed there intentionally during manufacturing. It helps to keep air circulating through the container to prevent moisture from building up and activating the tablets before you are ready to add a splash of colorful fun to bath time. Hope this helps solve the mystery!

Are the bath drops supposed to have a hole in the wrapping under the green lid? Like the plastic layer that you rip off?

Asked by: Momofboys
Thank you for reaching out. The small hole in the packaging is placed there intentionally during manufacturing. The hole helps to keep air circulating through the container to prevent moisture from building up and activating the tablets.
