Endless fun while learning!
I received a complimentary Crayola Color Chemistry Lab Set for review purposes. All opinions are my own. My 8 year old daughter was so excited to get this lab set. We have had lots of fun attempting experiments. I love that it incorporates science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. This comes with a book on how to do 50 experiments. 16 of them have everything you need included in the set. The other experiments include items in the set but need extra things found easily at home like paper towels or plastic water bottles. Each experiment has a little paragraph explaining the science of it. Some experiments have to be performed in order to perform the next. So far my daughters has made glow worms and did two further experiments based off that one. She also did a rubber goo experiment. She has a little over two weeks left of summer vacation before school starts back so we have decided to start at the beginning on experiment #1 and work our way through a few each morning. She is most looking forward to erupting a volcano. She loves working with color as art is her passion. This has been perfect for her and very educational. All experiments can be completed without googles or rubber gloves so they are completely safe. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Beginning Science Kit
I purchased this to use in our pre-K homeschool year for my five year old with additional needs. I thought this might be a fun activity to pull out sometimes, but my daughter absolutely loves it and asks to do an experiment every homeschool day. Her favorite thing in the world is color mixing, so this set is perfect for her with all the different colored inks included. The quality of the experiments is better than I expected. The print in the experiment booklet is quite small, but that isn't a reason to take away a star. If I had known how much we would love this kit, I would have recreated the instructions with bigger font and possibly a visual supply list ... perhaps add in a journaling element. I actually might purchase this to do a second time and do just that! This is the perfect introduction to gathering supplies, hearing a bit about science, and following instructions to perform an experiment. I was pleasantly surprised with this kit and highly recommend.

Tons of Fun
My girls just love anything Crayola , always tons of activities, loads of fun, so when I received the Crayola Color Chemistry Lab free from Bazaarvoice/TryItSampling community for my personal opinion/review, I was as excited as the girls , entertained for hours. One of Crayola's best yet.

Colorful Science at home
I love how this incorporates Science and Art together. Not only that, but even building, creativity and part Math as well. My 8 year old loves doing projects like these. Truthfully, thus is definitely not for younger kids so I don't recommend it for kids 6 and under. There's so many great projects, 50 to be exact that you can do, but we chose the glow worms. It's so cool! Even I enjoyed it. Each project has full description, instructions and details. For some projects you don't need much but for others you need things you have around the house. We really want to make the volcano and that's our next project. For some projects you do need goggles and gloves, etc. It's just so fun to watch Scieence unfold right in front of you. Definitely a great family project and so colorful and fun.

Just ok
My daughter got this for Christmas and half the experiments so far haven't work well. The volcano was the slowest bubble effect ever, the polymers didn't set for the goo/slime and after one hour we've used half the supplies and it looks like you don't sell replacement supplies. How do you not sell extra supplies like the modeling clay and tablets, very frustrating. I expected better.

Great item for kids to explore
I love crayola company came up with this idea of scientific lab in the house for the kids to explore and see what they enjoy and experiment. My daughter loves it and keeps asking for it every single day she wants to discover things to do with and try. I love that it comes with a few basic needs to do a couple of labs all the materials for it and it's got such a variety totally amazing product and so well worth it

Fun and educational!
This is a fun set for older kids. (I'd say best for 6 -10 year olds) The kit comes with equipment for several experiments and the rest of the ingredients you may need are simple that you probably already have on hand which is super nice. Most of the experiments are pretty easy that you could do without the kit but it's nice to have a book of instructions and basics ready to go - takes a lot of hassle out of it!

Daughter Loves it!
I absolutely this for my daughter, she loves experiments and this was the perfect toy for her. My daughter loves it! As soon as she opened it, she asked if I would record her making experiments. I love it because it provides them step by step instructions but lets them learn how to do real laboratory things, like using beakers and pipettes, measuring accurately, mixing things together to get something new.

My kids are obsesssed!
The Crayola Color Chemistry Set is a kids dream come true! The experiments are well designed, and the instructions are easy to follow. I also love how easy it is to clean up after you are finished. Everything washes up easily. You will need a few extra items for some of the experiments, but most homes will have these things around, things such as baking soda and vinegar. This is the best for a rainy day!

Measurements unclear!!!!!
We received this as a gift and were so excited to get started. Unfortunately the first two experiments we tried didn’t work - the booger goo and bouncy ball. The measurements were not clear - eg first tick and second tick, however the beaker uses ml as measurements. And there was only enough product to do the experiments one time so we couldnt retry. Needless to say we had a very disappointed kid.

Awesome!
My kids loved this. My oldest son (5) was so excited when he saw it. Comes with plenty to do, and my kids wanted to do them all at once! Comes with enough supplies to do alot of the experiments. What it doesn't come with, isn't hard to find. Which I most certainly appreciate. Perfect to get young children into experimenting, and learning with hands on things. Definitely makes learning fun!

Kids really enjoyed it
My two kids (7 and 4) were super excited when we got this chemistry set. We have made the bubbling volcano and what’s cool and different about this set from another one we had is that they combine science with arts/crafts. The kids get to use model magic to mold a volcano and paint it with various colors and then do the science experience with bubbling tabs and water and use a pipette!

Hours of fun
This is such a cool product. There are so many experiments to do! I had so much fun doing this with my 6 year old daughter. She loves crayola crayons so she was excited to try out the different color creations in the box. The experiments were quite easy to do and I was able to only watch her while she did some of them by herself. Clean up was easy as well so that's a major plus.

Even the 10 year old thinks it is fun
I bought the color lab for my 6 year old grandson, ended up buying a second one for the 10 year old. The fizz tablets have been the biggest hit. We have made various different volcanoes using baking soda and vinegar, but the one in this kit uses the fizz tablets. Also the water oil and fizz tablet experiment he did over and over. Then used the results to make marbled paper.

Educational fun
We've only just begun to use this set but so far my 9year old is very excited. She immediately wanted to do an experiment upon receiving it. I love that Crayola is a brand that I trust to not permanently stain my house but I have yet to had to personally test this. Final verdict this is a lot of fun and I love that it's educational at the same time.

Fun for many ages
I recently had the joy of babysitting my best friends twins and we all had a blast with this kit from Crayola. It's so creative and engaging with many "experiments" to choose from. It says 7 and up and the box but I think with adult supervision this could be enjoyed by 5 and up as well. I'll probably be buying more to gift at Christmas time.

Huge hit
My kids love this Crayola Chemistry set! They’re a bit younger than the recommended age (almost 5) but with my help they could participate in all of their experiments. Their favorite by far was the volcano! I’ll definitly think about getting this as a gift for other kids in the family for Christmas or as a birthday gift. Lots of fun!

Very fun
I received this product for free in return of my honest opinion. My kids LOVED this! They had so much fun doing all the different experiments that you can do. School just started back here so it was nice for them to have something fun to do at home when they came home from being at school all day. I would recommend this to anyone.

Great Set!
Great set for hours of fun! This lab set was a hit for all 3 of my kid's ages, 14, 10 and 8. The screens were ignored for hours! It comes with most of the necessary ingredients but some are still needed. Make sure to read instructions before starting to make sure you have all the supplies on hand.

Great colour learning.
My 6 year old bought this for himself. Itvteaches about colour, going beyond primary and secondary colours. Teaching about pigments vs dye. As well as covering tinting and shading.
W have only done the first few experiments, and we can't wait to do the rest. Fantastic product.

tons of fun
So much fun your kids dont even see it as learning. I homeschool my kids from 11 to 2 and we used this as art and science in a study. The kids had a blast as they explored their creativity. These pack has many fun experiences to keep everyone entertained. Was a little messy.

Sooooooo Much Fin
Messy but fun. We made worms and a volcano and slime and little bugs. My son and I had equally as much fun. We learned that we had to move the activity from the kitchen table to the outside table be the spread the stuff out but that’s fine. Fun for all ages. Literally

A great way to explore colors!
I bought this for my son who is on the autism spectrum and loves volcanoes, but we haven’t even reached the volcano experiment yet and he’s already loving it! It’s been a fun new way to bond and do something constructive at the same time!

Kids had fun!
I received this product for free, for my honest option of the item. My kids really enjoyed this set. I have an 8, 6, 5, and 2 year old. The younger one's needed some help but my 8 year old really enjoyed all the things to do.

Fun experiments, but no way to get refill supplies
This has been lots of fun for my 7 year old. I do wish, however, that there was a way to get refill supplies. There are 50 experiments listed and 1 experiment alone used all the calcium solution. A little frustrating.
