Interesting
I bought 4 of these so we could actually experience the surprise.
Some of the smells are too much, just too strong. The mud one I had to throw away because I honestly cannot handle the smell. My 4 year old loves the stinky cheese one but I find it almost as bad as the mud.
The pickle!! Amazing!!! The smell is spot on!
We also got fruit punch which is also great!!
I like the idea of the smells and I know the kids think they are fun but they are just a bit to strong in the bad ones. Overall it was pretty fun and the kids are still playing with them.
Also it would be much better if the colours were on the packaging so you know which one you're getting.

Is this really what your customers want?
I bought one of these tonight for my 4 year old, who was excited to play with silly putty regardless of the smell. Cut to 5 minutes later our house and son smell like a dirty campfire, my wife had to leave the room with a headache and my son is upset that we had to throw it out. This concept is like hey, you'll get a great product sometimes, but sometimes you will get a horrible nasty surprise, yay!

Nice scent, but it lingers
Just bought one after seeing it in a local drug store. I really loved the scent of the one I got (I think it was the fruit punch one), but I can't seem to get the smell off my hands. Washed my hands about four or five times so far, but they STILL smell like the putty. I tried to pick something out of my teeth and just tasted a really bad chemical taste. Lemon juice doesn't help get rid of it. Love the scent, but why is it so strong???

Be careful..
My boys got these as stocking stuffers. My 2yr old got a tiny piece while my older 2 were playing with it and of course it went in his mouth.. He immediately starting throwing up.. I know it's safe and nontoxic.. It was probably the overpowering scent, but still scary.. Just be careful and make sure the kids don't put it near their mouths!

Keep Away From Your Mouth!
I bought two from a drug store for my 5 and 8 year old kids. When we got home, my 5 year old son liked the pineapple smell but apparently he licked it to see how it tastes. He immediately started gagging and throwing up. We had to rush him to the sink and rinse his mouth out for a couple of minutes. Some eggnog seemed to help get rid of the taste. After all of that, my curious 8 year old daughter decided she wanted to see if it really tasted that bad. Same thing. Even though it is nontoxic, it was still scary seeing your kid gag and vomit just by licking something that smells like it should taste like candy.

Awful product and very disappointed!!!!
I bought this today for my 3 and 5 year olds. They each had one and played with it for not even 2 minutes and they were crying saying they were sick. They had touched their mouths and my 3 year old was throwing up immediately. My husband touched the putty once and then ate a chip and said the taste was disgusting. A few hours later my 3 year old ate strawberries and it was still on her hands after washing and it ruined those. Now I have it in my mouth from trying the strawberries and the taste is disgusting and we all experienced tingling on our tongues. Nothing will take the taste and tingling away. I'm extremely disappointed because I loved silly putty as a kid and now I will never buy it again!!

Rancid waste of money
I LOVE Silly Putty and Aarons Putty but let me tell you I'm considering crossing Crayola off the list. I bought one of the scented ones and it happens to be rotten egg scent. It's the most horrid smell out there. It's so bad that it's not even usable which means it was a total waste of money and will end up in the trash. The scented feature was an enticing new element to an otherwise boring and played out world of putty but Crayola screwed up on this one. It's like they thought this would be equally as popular as Jelly Belly's Beanboozled. Wrong! Do not waste a penny on the scented ones because theres a chance you will get one so rancid it can't even be touched. Unless you want to walk around smelling like written egg (which also smells a lot like rancid urine). And if you do, God bless you. But please stay a mile away from me.

Social Skills Lesson-Disappointed Egg Findings
I bought these to use for my social skills group to work on perspective. Because the smells are a mystery and because smell for many is so individual (what people enjoy and do not enjoy) I think it will be a great lesson.
I am disappointed however, that I purchased one, opened it, and it was EMPTY! Like there was not a putty inside. Wondering about quality control in this instance. I am grateful I purchased more for my purpose, but I was disappointed in finding absolutely nothing in my egg.

Hi how long does the scent stay with the scented Silly Putty does it last as long as the Silly Putty lasts or does it eventually wear off thanks
It's a mystery! Crayola Silly Putty is oil-based, meaning it won't dry out. The aroma in the Silly Scents Silly Putty should last a very long time. It is possible that the scented oil could evaporate with use of the putty, meaning the scent may diminish over time. Hope this helps!
