What a fun idea! With adult supervision and in a well ventilated area, melting crayons is safe as long as directions are followed. Check out some techniques you can try: https://www.crayola.com/things-to-do/how-to-landing/melted-crayons/

What are the crayons made of?

Asked by: PaulaRose
Thanks for your question! Crayola Crayons are made primarily from paraffin wax and color pigment. This process is the same for all Crayola Crayon colors. The paraffin wax is melted and mixed together with pre-measured amounts of color pigments. Hope this helps!
