Too pale
I bought these because we needed a Christmas tree but didn’t have a place for a regular tree- I’d hoped to use these to draw something be on our window wall but the markers were too light/pale and the resulting tree could not be seen. I was disappointed.

Barely noticeable :(
We got these for my daughter, who was going to be recovering from surgery for 8-12 weeks. We opened them up first, to draw a window message for her to see when she came home from the hospital...let’s just say, she didn’t even notice it because these markers don’t show up. I came here, to the Crayola website, to see if i was possibly doing something wrong....nope. Very dissappointed!

Worthless as window markers
Bought these for my girls to draw 2 rainbows on the windows, for the world to see & give them hope. I could barely see the rainbows when I was up close in front of them. Outside there was no rainbow.
These markers are meant to be window markers? They are terrible!
VERY overpriced & do not do the job they are meant to do.

Great for all ages
We bought this about a month ago. The timing for our purchase could not have been better. The kids love writing all over the windows and the parents even get in on it. There are some colors that don’t show up as well but that’s understandable on glass. Definitely a great buy.

Half work just ok
The colors are very dilute- the ones labled color clear are pretty useless. The others are ok. Which they were more opaque tho.

What is the difference between color-clear window markers and regular window markers?
Denny has the scoop! Mini Washable Window Markers lays down a color but you can see through it, almost like a stained glass effect, while Color-Clear Washable Window Markers have an opaque color lay down. Happy creating!

Are these supposed to be good for white boards too? My kid is having trouble erasing them from his white board. And the window effect is weak at best.
Not all Crayola markers are created alike! While our Window Markers aren't formulated to make a colorful impression on whiteboards, they do add a pop of color that cleans up from windows and glass. Our Take-Note Dry-Erase markers make a colorfully bold statement on your whiteboard and clean-up easily from that surface. I checked with my pack and they told me to share some pro tips if you need help with the marks left by the Window Markers. They said to test the recommendations in a small area of your whiteboard to make sure you are A-Okay with the results: First, try using a whiteboard cleaner as directed. If that doesn't do the trick, apply an all-purpose cleaner according to their directions. If those two steps don't remove the marks, saturate a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol; blot the stain and rinse. Or, try Clorox Clean-Up Cleaner in the spray bottle as directed. Hope this helps!
