What kind of eraser is on the pencil? It's much harder than the plain pink ones.

Denny to the rescue! I checked with my pack, and the Erasable Colored Pencils use a TPE (Thermoplastic elastomer) with added colorants. This is not the same formula as a pink eraser and may explain why our erasers feel harder than a graphite pencil's. Hope this helps!
