Wonderful Addition to My Collection
I have had a love affair with just about every coloured pencil out there. I have sets of Caran D'arche, Prisma Color, Staedtler just to name a few. These pencils are better than most of my expensive ones. The ability to blend effectively via a blender pencil or a small thin brush lightly dipped in alcohol (or Gamsol) brings out some delightful colours and textures. Whilst I'm an artist who uses predominantly oil pencils, these have become a staple. Please make more colours and sets. The photograph I'm including was done with these. The picture is from Jade Summers Mandala Collection bought in PDF format on Etsy.

Huge difference from standard colored pencils
I am a beginner with colored pencils and decided to try these and found them much nicer to color with than the standard colored pencils. They blend nicely and stay sharp longer than the standard ones. The pencils are nice and smooth on the outside and feel nice in your hand. Two complaints, first, I like to put my pencils in cups and since only the bottom end is painted the pencil color, it's challenging to find what I want. Second, the box is terrible. There is not enough of the pencil sticking up to grab easily from the box and opening it and setting up the box to use the pencils is so fiddly. Again, you can't tell the colors easily since the body of the pencil is black.

Great pencils.
I really like these colored pencils. I actually like them better than the Crayola Artists pencils and Crayola Blend and Shade pencils. Pros: good color saturation, colors smoothly, holds the sharp tip well. Erases easily and blends well enough for this beginner. The black paint is nice to the touch. I really like that they are hexagonal. Cons: The box is terrible and went into the recycling bin. I would rather have a tin like the Artists pencils. Can only find these pencils online. The color on the end of the pencil doesn't always match the color of the pencil.

Awesome
I color for a living and I have always used Crayola colored pencils. Yes they are cheaper than the professional ones but work just as well. Color Escapes Premium have a softer lead than their normal color pencils and blend just as well!!!

Great for Coloring
-I happened upon this set of Color Escapes pencils at my local Grocery Outlet discount store. As I had given my 100 Crayola colored pencil set to a friend's child, I was in need of another set for myself. These were only $9.99 so I had to get them. The Color Escapes pencils color and blend well. The light colors erase better than the dark. I have been using Crayola products for over 65 years (I am 69) and swear by the quality and variety.

Love these pencils
I have been using these for over a year and am almost ready to get my second box. They sharpen beautifully without the lead breaking. They blend very well. I took mine out of their box and put them in a plastic pencil box that also has room for the sharpener and I can easily find the colors I want since they lay flat in the box.
